About the role
We're hiring for UX Research & Design to understand how students use Settl Abroad - interviews, onboarding flows, and usability checks that turn into clearer product decisions.
This is a paid student internship: EUR 1,500/month gross for about 20 hours/week (EUR 17.31/hour).
Key responsibilities
- Plan and run student interviews (recruit, guide, synthesize)
- Map friction in onboarding and core product journeys
- Prototype and critique flows in Figma with the team
- Run lightweight usability checks and document findings
- Turn insights into actionable recommendations (not just slide decks)
What you'll need
- Interest or experience in interviewing users
- Comfortable in Figma for flows / wireframes
- Clear thinking: observe -> insight -> recommendation
- Empathy for international students relocating to Germany
- Enrolled student (or recently graduated); 20 hours/week remotely
